Night Blindness is the inability to see in the darkness but one can see normally when adequate amounts of light are present. Night blindness is the inability or reduced ability to see in the darkness or in a dim lighted setting. Night blindness also involves a reduced time it takes for the eyes to get used to the darkness.
There are several different causes for cause night blindness:
  • Night blindness may be caused by cataracts. This condition, characterized by cloudiness of the lens, may cause night blindness.
